London Based Gospel Collective - ALL Christian Musicians/Singer Songwriters
I am a Christian singer – songwriter who is trying to form a UK gospel collective made of Christian musicians and singer songwriter.
Whilst my primary aim is around bringing Christian musicians together initially to worship and soak in God’s presence, I am also open to seeing what God might do with such a group. For example this might be the team leading worship at other events, amongst other things.
I really love the prophetic (although) at the beginning of really understanding it. In line with this, I am really keen on working with musicians who want to experiment with the prophetic, who can bring forth new material as well as wanting to learn and worship together through some good old favourites (of yours).
A bit about me – I am a black British (Caribbean parentage) female-aged 32. I have always loved the Lord but spend a good portion of time just flirting on the periphery of a relationship with God. I have been a committed Christian since 2004 and was blessed with the opportunity to sing in the worship in my local church up until November last year. God also blessed me with the opportunity to occasionally lead, so have some limited understanding there.
I have been a singer songwriter forever but only really started writing love /worship /praise songs for God since 2005. I have over 200 songs (probably only about 20-25 are useable), and haven’t really had the opportunity to do any thing with them.
I am a worshipper. I love God and I love music and the vehicle it can be to adore God and to tell others about him. I actually came to faith through gospel music. This group is an opportunity to connect with other like me – worshipers, who primarily worship through their musician-ship. I also hope this group might provide an opportunity to share experience and learning around music.
Music –wise I’m quite open to different styles. I’m really loving soul /jazz styles at the moment but open to different influences. Artists I like at the moment (I haven’t listed all but tried to give you a flavour of the styles)

Brass and Woddwind musicians wnated for Musical Theatre Show
Musicians Wanted for Musical Theatre Show in Sunderland. The Theatre Restaurant is looking for Brass and Woodwind musicians to perform in a musical version of "It's a Wonderful Life". A good level of sightreading and a good attitude is needed for this great opportunity to work in a Pit-Orchestra. Auditions will be held in October with rehearsals and performances running from November to mid-January. This is a paid position and any age will be considered.
