Musicians Wanted for Musical Theatre Show in Sunderland. The Theatre Restaurant is looking for Brass and Woodwind musicians to perform in a musical version of "It's a Wonderful Life". A good level of sightreading and a good attitude is needed for this great opportunity to work in a Pit-Orchestra. Auditions will be held in October with rehearsals and performances running from November to mid-January. This is a paid position and any age will be considered.

In the last 10 years I have been touring extensively UK, Spain and France, and I also have played in the States, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Turkey and Russia.

It exists so you can make more music, meet new musicians, improvise, or find work contacts. You make it happen by turning up - regularly or on a casual basis. Hire costs are shared.
Comments from musicians include 'NJ took me away from musicians classifieds and now I'm jamming with rhodes players, sax players, guitarists I didn't know existed but live in my area. The mix is different every week but the motive is the same'.
Bring your own riffs, chord patterns, grooves, and sense of humour. Re-worked covers are also an option. Styles so far have included rock, indie, acoustic, reggae, funk. All types of instruments and vocalists needed to keep jam fresh. Intermediate plus.

Guitarist and Drummer looking for a Vocalist/Lyricist to form a new band in Manchester.
We want to combine the intensity and simplicity of the Sex Pistols and Ramones with the melody of the Beatles. We are looking for a vocalist who can come up with strong tunes and hooks. Subject matter is not important to us as long as your lyrics are not overtly ‘political’.
We have lots of musical ideas, live experience, transport and good equipment. We practice once a week and are looking to get gigging as soon as possible. Your age is not important – as long as you are old enough to buy a round of drinks. It would be good if you have your own transport though this is not important if you live in or close to Manchester.
